Many of them have achieved a national and international reputation, yet another indicator of their higher education institution’s relevant role in the development of their competencies and abilities.

Main challenges

FEA permanently faces the challenge to improve teaching, increase exchanges with other national and international higher education centers and expand the relation with society. Inspired by these goals, the Faculty’s management concentrates on four main action areas:

  • Advance in the search for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching through curricular changes, aimed at guaranteeing the students’ integral formation, preparing them for their profession as well as critical reflection. This effort includes the creation of a learning lab for the development and dissemination of new teaching methodologies, the recycling of its faculty and the registration and preservation of didactical experiences.
  • Intensify FEA’s internationalization project, establishing the institution as a partner for large international teaching and research centers, in order to strengthen the qualification and experience of exchange students, to stimulate joint research production and allow for the double certification of FEA courses.
  • Expand the relation with civil society, placing the knowledge and competencies that exist within the school and its foundations in the service of professional formation, reform projects in public, private and service  organizations, and a wide range of activities for social segments in need, to be developed by faculty members and student groups.
  • Consolidate internal and external communication. Attaching great value to transparency, FEA is willing to cooperate with social communication means with a view to disseminating information about its activities, study and research results, and clarifying issues within its specialty area.
