About the Graduate Commission (CPG)

According to the USP graduate regimen, the CPG will be responsible for coordinating the Graduate programs within the Unit, respecting the guidelines and standards set by the CoPGr. In each unit, the CPG will consist of the following members:


I -

A number of faculty representatives, elected according to standards set in the Unit Regimen, who must at least have a doctoral degree, be accredited advisors in at least one of the Graduate programs for which the CPG is responsible and be part of the respective unit, with a 3 (three)-year mandate and the possibility of reelection;

II -

A number of student representatives, elected by their peers, which should correspond to twenty percent of the total number of faculty members of the CPG. Student representatives must be regularly enrolled in Graduate programs at the Unit and cannot be affiliated in any way with the University teaching staff, with a 1 (one)- year mandate and the possibility of reelection.
