About Subjects taken outside the USP


Art. 78
  - Subjects taken outside the USP can be accepted for credits up to one third of the minimum required amount, if approved by the CPG and the CoPGr.(article changed by Resolution No 4915/2002)

Single Paragraph – If an academic, scientific, artistic or cultural cooperation agreement is closed between the USP and another institution in Brazil or abroad, the limit set in the article can be changed if approved by the CoPGr, after hearing the opinion of the CPG.

Art. 79  -            The credits treated in this section can also be attributed to students who, although they have taken a full graduate program outside the USP, have not obtained the equivalence of the respective degree for a number of reasons.(article changed by Resolution No 4915/2002)

§ 1o      -            Credits taken in this way can be considered through a request and justification by the student’s advisor and approval by the CPG, respecting the limit set in article 78 of this Regimen.

§ 2o      -            Using the credits mentioned in the caput of this article and in § 1o of article 95 does not imply in any retroactive term action.


After taking the subjects at units outside the USP, students must require the consideration of these credits by handing in the following documents:


- Form for credit consideration

- Subject program taken

- Declaration of subject conclusion (if not taken through the agreement with FGV/SP)


About the Agreement with the FGV/SP


FEA has closed an agreement with the FGV/SP to allow students who are regularly enrolled in graduate programs in Economics and Administration to take subjects at that institution without paying any fee.

To be able to register at FGV/SP, students must withdraw passwords at FEA’s Graduate Secretary.

Pay attention to the deadlines for withdrawing the passwords!
